GlamourDoll Eyes Hallowe'en Set 1 Swatches

So I was soooooooo excited to receive these the other day in the post, there were some released the day before my birthday so as I didn't get much present wise I decided to treat myself to these, the other Hallowe'en Set and 2 other collections of shadows (which I'll also upload swatches of soon).
This is the first time I've ever ordered from GlamourDoll Eyes (GDE) and I've gotta say I'm one extremely happy customer, even though shipping for me was kinda expensive which is THE only downfall but well worth it for the quality of the shadows and also the packaging which is extremely pretty too :) They pretty much shipped the next day which was awesome, they took 2 weeks to get to me which might seem like a long time, but bear in mind I live in the UK and it takes time to process stuff through customs. I had to pay an extra fee for the other package I ordered but I'll go into more detail about that when I upload swatches of the other collections I got :).
The other awesome thing about GDE is that all the eyeshadows are handmade by Vee (Vanessa) herself, she's a one woman show and her customer service is excellent considering how busy she must be :) Shes such a great person and I admire her a lot for all her hard work, so Vee if you read this your awesomeeeeeee! :)

Right now its Swatch Time! ^^;

Below is the picture of the complete set, there are 3 shadows and what Vee calls an eyelight, which is basically just a really fine mix of cosmetic glitter that you can use to add a lil sparkle to your make up or could be used as glitter liner. The sets come in these really cute baggies that are black mesh with little gold stars all over as you can see in the picture :) I think that's such a cute little added detail that makes me fall in love with these sets even more! So Cute! :)

The first shadow is called Graveyard, its an awesome matte dark grey that verges almost on black colour, perfect if you don't want to go to dark when blending it with other shadows, or to add an edge to a smokey eye look. This one applied really well even without eyeshadow primer, which is shown in the picture underneath this one. I then did a swatch on top of primer which made the colour more intense. Very happy with this one as I don't really own many matte colours.

Picture of Graveyard in the pot :)

Swatches of Graveyard without Primer in the first picture, and with Primer in the second:

Next was the Zombie Date Night eyelight. This is absolutely gorgeous! Its a mix of black, red, orange and I think a tiny bit of green? Definately very Hallowee'eny! In daylight it looks quite dark in the pot, but when I took a picture with the flash on my camera.....o  m  g so pretty I am offically in Love! :) Haha. To make it stick to my skin for the swatches I just pressed it on top of a thickish layer of primer, but for use on your eyes I'd recommend using a thin layer of lash glue or an old glitter eyeliner of some sort as a base that is similar coloured to help the glitter stick to your lids :)

Here's a picture of it in the pot without, and with flash:

And here's a picture of the swatches on top of the primer, first without, then with the flash, even though these pictures don't really do it justice:

The next shadow is Bruised! another very gorgeous colour, its a grayish lavender colour with blue and pink sparkles in it. On top of primer the purple is really intensified which makes the sparkles in this one stand out a lot more, but without primer this ones definately light enough to use as a highlighter if your using blues or purples for a look, or to add on top of another colour to add a bit of sparkle. I definately want to see what this looks like on top of Graveyard, I imagine it'd look extremely pretty!

Heres a picture of it in the pot again without flash and also with flash, very sparkly this one! :)

Then here's the dry swatches without and with flash to show how light it is without a base for use as maybe a highlighter:

 And then with primer:

And finally here's FrankenGlamour, such a lovely light lime green with gold sparkles, which when blended out  a little has a gold sheen on top of the green which is awesome! Green is my fav colour so this one is definately right up my alley! Love it!

Here's a pictures in the pot without and with flash:

Then the dry swatches:

And finally on top of primer :) :

These are sooooo gorgeous its unreal, can't wait to have more of a play with them & see what I can come up with ^^;  I will post the swatches of Set 2 of the GlamourDoll Eyes Hallowe'en set later on today, so keep your eyes peeled. I actually did my make up with the 2nd set and Graveyard from this set, so I'll put pics of that up as well for anyone that wants to see what I did :))

Oh and for anyone that was interested the primer I used was Benefit's F Y Eye eyeshadow primer, I don't really like this primer as it doesn't work well for me on my eyelids, but for swatch purposes its fine :)  (saves wasting my Urban Decay Primer Potion). So from now on any swatches I do will be using F Y Eye just so you know.

Remember keep your eyes peeled for Set 2 later on tonight

Later Kittens =^.^=

I don't think I have to tell you how much I adore Vee's shadows, do I? xD I hate the shipping though, it sucks a lot. But the shadows are really great! I really adore the Halloween shadows, though I didn't buy a package.
